Founder of one of Western Canada’s most successful demolition enterprises, avid philanthropist, and demolition expert, Bill Knight brings decades of experience to the Downright team. He is a member of EO, a Harvard and LBS Graduate, studied at MIT, is NCSO certified, and Philanthropist of the Year.
Penny McEwan – Sr. Estimator
With years of experience in the Demolition industry in a variety of roles from safety to estimating to operations management, Penny McEwan is driven and dedicated to delivering an outstanding client experience on every project.
Steven Knight B.Comm. – Finance
A graduate of the University of Alberta School of Business, Steven gained valuable skills and experience in the demolition industry at a young age. He brings a variety of skillsets to the Downright team in both finance & business development.
Lachlan Allward – Estimator
Lachlan is a proud team member of Downright Demolition. She initially started her career at B&B Demolition, where she was an integral member of the team. She started her career in the demolition industry in the scheduling department and throughout her years moved into an estimator role.
In 2019 Lachlan moved to Downright Demolition to continue her growth in the industry and gain additional experience. Her attention to detail and eagerness to help and find solutions have been key to her growth, both in business environment and in the community. Lachlan is an active member in CREW. and other local networking groups. She remains devoted to excelling in her personal growth.
Jamie McEwan – Project Supervisor
Jamie McEwan has dedicated himself to becoming a notable supervisor/ safety officer for Downright Demolition Ltd. With training coming from a team who built B&B Demolition Ltd. and has over 50 years experience. He is a devoted family man with strong community connections and looks forward to the successes of Downright Demolition Ltd.
